WELCOME TO PIXIEDUST PHALENES

Thank You for visiting our personal website devoted to our phalenes, phalene puppies and--soon, hopefully-- UKC & AKC Champion Phalene dogs. It is here that we showcase both our AKC & UKC  (and other) Champion Phalenes and our pet phalene puppies. 

We take great care to insure the health and temperament of each phalene breeding. We expect our Phalenes to excel in the same areas as our papillons, as obedience, agility and therapy dogs, in addition to becoming AKC or UKC or CKC conformation Champions.

 We believe in socializing all our phalenes  from the time they are puppies. Our adult Phalenes  all live in the house with us and are not caged as a regular part of their life. Our Phalenes are our pets first and always.

All our phalene puppies have a series of shots before they leave. Pixiedust Phalenes is not a proponent of over vaccination, we hope any new phalenes puppy owner will take time to educate themselves on the vaccination issues.

All of the health testing Pixiedust Phalenes does, is not enough if the phalene puppies are not properly fed. Better feeding helps bring out much of the potential of all phalenes, starting with puppies. There is a page on feeding with suggestions to other places to help our phalenes puppy owners have the healthiest phalene puppies and dogs.

At Pixiedust Phalenes, we are strong advocates of non aversive training methods. We feel humans should take more time to understand their phalenes, after all, we are supposed to be the more intelligent species. It is our belief that too many people and trainers use punishment in the hopes of getting faster or more perfect behavior from their Phalene puppies or dogs. Humans are not perfect, why should we punish a poor animal for not being better than us?
